Disability Services Australia (DSA) joined Scope late in 2021.
Scope, Australia’s leading disability services provider, like DSA have a long history of delivering disability services. They are experts in providing services across Australia’s disability services sector.
In July 2023, Disability Services Australia, or DSA as we refer to ourselves, are changing our name to Scope.
We will have a new name and new logo, but the same high-quality service and talented people will remain.
Scope, like DSA, has a long history of delivering disability support services and is proud to be part of Scope.
We provide disability support services across NSW including:
We will continue to deliver these high-quality services even when we change our name to Scope.
Scope and DSA share a similar story.
Both founded by parents who simply wanted to create better opportunities, such as employment options, for their children with disability. They wanted their family to have the same opportunities as every other family.
In 1957, parents came together, forming the humble beginnings of DSA which in over 60 years has grown to provide quality disability support services across NSW.
In 2021, DSA was acquired by Scope, Australia’s leading disability service provider. Joining Scope is helping strengthen DSA so we can continue delivering high quality services to our customers well into the future.
Together, Scope and DSA share a Purpose and Values that are based on the inputs and views of over 230 clients and 1,000 employees. They set a clear direction for our organisation and set us apart from others.
Our Purpose: We create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.
While we already strive to live our Purpose through actions like enabling residents to decide how to run their home, there is more we can do.
DSA is proud to be part of this journey. We’re proud of where we started, and we’re excited about where we’re going!
When you choose DSA, you’ll experience people who value what you value.
DSA (soon to be Scope) are committed to providing contemporary, innovative services that promote choice and self-determination for the people we support.
We recognise not everyone’s journey is the same, and our clients’ needs can, and do change for a whole range of reasons.
From supported independent living to social connections and employment solutions we cater to and support people with a range of complex disabilities. Have a look around our website to see what services are right for you.
Enhance Health Services (also soon to be Scope) has over 20 year’s experience in providing therapy and positive behaviour supports, working with people with all disabilities including physical, psychosocial and intellectual.
METS, our RTO (91018) is a leading Smart & Skilled Provider offering qualifications in Childcare, Community Services, Retail, Hospitality, Supply Chains, online and short courses, with over 30 year’s experience in training.

From mid-July 2023, DSA will be known as Scope, use the Scope logo and its updated visual look and feel. The DSA name and logo will no longer be used from mid-July.
The DSA phone numbers will remain the same. In late June, DSA email addresses will change. We will share further information closer to the time when the email addresses will change, so that you can save the new email addresses.
We are already one organisation but our name in NSW won’t change until July so for now, you can continue to call us DSA. Our Victorian services will remain as Scope.
Yes. Scope will have a single website used across our business. A redirect will be in place so that if you search for ‘DSA’ or ‘Disability Services Australia’ or put in the current DSA url into a browser you will be redirected to the new Scope website. You can visit the current Scope website today at: www.scopeaust.org.au
